The North Sydney Bears are proud to announce Mary’s House Services as their official community partner for the season 2025 and beyond. This exciting partnership will see the Bears and Mary’s House Services come together to support women and children escaping domestic violence, raising awareness and contributing to positive change in the local community.
Mary’s House Services provides a range of support, including crisis accommodation, case management, and counselling for women and their children experiencing domestic abuse. The organisation’s commitment to safety, empowerment, and community aligns perfectly with the North Sydney Bears’ values, making this partnership a natural fit.
As part of the collaboration, the Bears will undertake various initiatives throughout the season to help spread awareness, fundraise, and promote the important work of Mary’s House Services. This will include special events, fundraising campaigns at home games, and community engagement activities that aim to make a real difference in the lives of those affected by domestic violence.

As part of the partnership’s launch, the North Sydney Bears will be part of the Mary’s House Walk on Sunday, 27th October 2024. The event will take place in North Sydney and is designed to bring the community together to raise funds and awareness for domestic violence services. All proceeds from the walk will directly benefit Mary’s House Services, aiding their mission to provide life-changing support to those in need.
