We held a fabulous lunch at Norths Cammeray on Friday 4th October supporting the Red & Black Foundation. Guest speaker NSW Blues Super Coach and now Brisbane Broncos Coach, Michael Maguire, regaled the audience about what it takes to win an Origin Series and his struggles and triumphs to reach that moment. Our Bears panel was studded with Old Bears including Mark Graham, Billy Moore, Mark Soden and Kieran Dempsey and had the guests in stitches over old stories.

Norths put on a delicious two course meal with guests enjoying prawns and beef cheeks, washed down with delicious wines from Clarity Cru and Bear Park Brews from Six String Brewing Co.

The event raised over $27,000 for the foundation with these funds aimed at further developing our pathway programs and high-performance facilities.

Many of the guests rolled straight into the Old Bears Reunion in the Lounge at Norths with a great turn out of players from the ’70’s, 80’s and 90’s.
